Summer Study Abroad in Spanish – Alicante, Spain
Program Overview

This immersive summer program is designed for students who want to deepen their Spanish language skills while experiencing the vibrant culture of Spain. Through intensive language courses and cultural immersion, students gain both linguistic fluency and cultural understanding in a short, impactful term. Set in the beautiful Mediterranean city of Alicante, this program blends academics with local connection and adventure.

Located on Spain's Costa Blanca, Alicante combines historic charm with coastal beauty. Known for its welcoming community, relaxed lifestyle, and cultural richness, Alicante provides the perfect environment for students to practice Spanish daily and engage meaningfully with the local culture.

Housing

Students may choose between a homestay or a student residence.

  • Homestay: Live with a Spanish host family for a complete immersion experience. Includes private room, meals, laundry, and daily opportunities to practice Spanish in a family environment.
  • Student Residence: Enjoy independent living with modern amenities and shared spaces. Residences are centrally located and foster a sense of community. Priority is given to students with dietary or accessibility needs.

  • Placement into individual courses is based on an online Spanish placement test
