Program Description:

CET Jordan: Intensive Language

CET Jordan
Take intensive Arabic language courses—Modern Standard Arabic and Jordanian Dialect. During the semesters, up the ante by taking two content-based Arabic language courses as well. Jordanian neighbors (jiran) and language partners, and language pledge (full or limited) ensure that you improve speaking Arabic. This program is for serious students that are highly motivated to learn the language!

Your Arabic Will Improve by Leaps and Bounds.

  • Official Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) scores for a résumé or graduate school application
  • Content-based Arabic language courses during the semesters: women studies, literature, contemporary society, business, history, religion, politics
  • Choose your language pledge (full or limited)
  • Electives in Arabic and English
  • Jordanian neighbors that live next door and support the language pledge
